Which school districts serve Arlington?

Arlington addresses fall into Arlington ISD, Mansfield ISD, Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD, Kennedale ISD and Fort Worth ISD. Arlington ISD serves much of the city.

Some north Arlington addresses are in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD. Much of south and southeast Arlington is split between Arlington ISD and Mansfield ISD, and southwest Arlington has lines that change within short distances.

The Texas Education Agency's 2026 A–F accountability ratings give these overall district results, with scores in parentheses. Arlington ISD: C (78). Mansfield ISD: B (87). Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD: B (87). Kennedale ISD: B (81). Fort Worth ISD: C (77).

District ratings are one measure. Look up each campus on TXschools.gov.

How does school assignment work in Arlington?

Each district sets its own attendance zones, transfer rules and programs of choice. Your address determines your zoned campus within the district that serves it.

Charter and private schools are also options. Verify school assignment for any address directly with the district.
