Frisco, TX school ratings and districts begin with Frisco ISD, which serves most of the city. Prosper, Lewisville and Little Elm ISDs serve other parts, so this page covers all four, their official state ratings and how to check an address.

Which school districts serve Frisco?

Frisco ISD serves most of Frisco. Prosper ISD serves part of the Collin County side, and Lewisville and Little Elm ISDs serve some areas of west Frisco in Denton County. A Frisco mailing address does not tell you the district.

What are the official district ratings?

The Texas Education Agency's TXschools.gov lists these overall district ratings for the 2025-26 school year:

Frisco ISD: A, 91 out of 100. Prosper ISD: A, 91 out of 100. Lewisville ISD: B, 83 out of 100. Little Elm ISD: C, 78 out of 100.

How does Frisco ISD assign schools?

Frisco ISD assigns schools by zone and publishes its zones each year. The district says some campuses at capacity are closed to new students, who then enroll at a nearby campus. Its zone search is a guide, and the district says a campus confirms an address's zone.

Verify school assignment for any address directly with the district before you buy.

What transfer and choice options exist?

Frisco ISD accepts in-district transfer requests for grades K–9 when space allows, during set windows each school year. Newly enrolled students may request a transfer within two weeks of enrolling. The district also offers an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Frisco High School.

Prosper, Lewisville and Little Elm ISDs set their own transfer and program rules. Charter and private schools run their own admissions.
